Watching an intimately staged opera which had grandpa rosa, Teresa, and zavi in it. Opera was set in prehistoric time. Zavi was a fossilized velociraptor and grandpa was a caveman. There was a sign that said don’t talk during the performance but grandpa was talking to us. Mom said we had to leave so during intermission, we asked the readers (narrators) if we could move the no talking sign to where grandpa was sitting. They said yes and started reading the sponsored script. “…and please remind me of today’s catchphrase: ‘shit’s craze, motherfuckers’”

trying desperately to annoy me, it seemed.

I thought I’d show her that she can’t get what she wants by behaving like that so I tried to ignore her.

Finally I let her in. She just wanted to cuddle. :( I’m a jerk.
