Found inspiration in dnaldoof last night for my quest for acai perfection. The Sambazon recipe calls for a pack of acai, a banana and soy milk or “juice.” Since the type of juice wasn’t specified, I assumed it meant apple juice, as is customary. However, my adventurous side (which is the bigger side by far) opted to go for KonaRed instead. I had tried it here and there before and really liked it. But that wasn’t enough excitement for me. I decided to take the mixture and make popsicles with it so I could have something amazing to come home to after a hard day of work. Patience is a virtue, my friends. What a nice way to spend my midday. I have a feeling I’m gonna be making lots of popsicles this summer. I feel like a kid again whenever I eat them PLUS the mold I got is amazing! It has a little straw so you can suck up every last drop of the yummy popsicley goodness! ^^/ I got mine at Don Quixote for $2.29…a SOUND INVESTMENT! I’m satisfied with my decisions from yesterday.
